Dounya Bassil is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the social development and humanitarian sector. As the Country Director of DOT Lebanon, she is committed to empowering communities and driving impactful initiatives that transform lives and create sustainable opportunities. Her extensive experience includes designing, managing, and evaluating projects focused on education, child protection, and psychosocial health, supporting both Lebanese communities and Palestinian and Syrian refugees.

Dounya holds degrees in Political Science and Social Animation, as well as a master’s degree in Social Development from Saint Joseph University, which provides a strong foundation for her work. She is at the forefront of digital empowerment initiatives in Lebanon, leading projects that foster skill development, enhance access to courses, and create job opportunities. Under her leadership, DOT Lebanon pioneers innovative solutions that positively impact communities. Dounya’s unwavering commitment to community empowerment makes her an invaluable asset to the organization, shaping the landscape of digital solutions and transformative programs in Lebanon.

A seasoned Finance and Administration Manager with over 10 years of professional experience, specializing in financial management, human resources, administration, IT, and security oversight. Expertise in leveraging advanced tools like Excel and Google Data Studio to deliver high-quality results and visually compelling reports that support strategic decision-making. Extensive background in digital transformation, driving operational efficiencies, and fostering organizational growth through cutting-edge technologies. Dedicated to innovation, process optimization, and continuous improvement to achieve impactful results.

Soulayma is the Programs Manager at DOT Lebanon, where she leads the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the country. Her role ensures effective management and accountability in Beqaa, South, North, Beirut, and Mount Lebanon, aligning initiatives with DOT’s mission and values. With over 25 years of experience, Soulayma has worked with prominent organizations, including the Dubai Government, Pathfinder International, UNRWA, and Save the Children International. Her expertise spans humanitarian aid, women’s empowerment, disability advocacy, and community development. Soulayma is also an active researcher and author, contributing to studies on disability inclusion and displaced communities.

Camil is the Programs Manager at DOT Lebanon, with over a decade of experience in humanitarian work and project management. Specializing in social development, protection, and community engagement, Camil has managed complex projects for international NGOs like IRC, DRC, and World Vision. With expertise in planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation, Camil has successfully led teams and partnered with local stakeholders to support vulnerable populations, particularly refugees and displaced persons. In addition to professional experience, Camil is an active volunteer and leader in organizing programs for children. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Social Animation, Camil is dedicated to driving impactful humanitarian initiatives.

With 23 years of experience across finance, HR, procurement, marketing, and customer service, Georgina brings a diverse skill set to streamline operations and drive success. Known for her proactive approach and efficiency, she excels in managing processes and supporting senior management.

Jessica is a seasoned professional with over five years of experience in the humanitarian sector, specializing in business development, quality assurance, and MEAL processes. Passionate about gender rights, social justice, and community empowerment, she leads the Business Development and Quality Assurance Unit, overseeing the entire grants lifecycle and fostering strong relationships with donors, INGOs, and NGOs. Her expertise in designing quality assurance frameworks, proposal development, and data analysis ensures the successful implementation of impactful projects. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s in International Affairs and Diplomacy and a Master’s in Business Strategy.

A Senior Learning Officer with extensive experience in educational content development, specializing in overseeing learning and digitization projects at DOT Lebanon. With 11 years of expertise as a curriculum developer and trainer, excels in creating customized training programs tailored to diverse needs. Skilled in developing comprehensive project plans and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics.

With over 8 years in humanitarian relief, Iris specializes in protection and psychosocial support for underprivileged populations. She holds a BA in Social Work and an MA in Community Development, providing a strong foundation in intervention techniques. As a Protection Coordinator, Iris leads initiatives that foster empowerment and resilience in at-risk communities. Certified as a Master Family Coach and Life Coach, she supports both personal and group development, driven by her passion for building resilient, dynamic communities and making a lasting impact.

With a strong background in accounting and auditing, Georges works as an Accountant and Administrative Officer at Digital Opportunity Trust. He is responsible for the organization’s financial reporting, data validation, audit checks, bank reconciliation, and various other finance tasks. Georges also manages the organization’s asset management system, overseeing yearly inventory and physical counts.

Mohamad Nassereddine is the ICT Officer at DOT Lebanon, bringing over 6 years of IT experience. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer and Communication Engineering, along with certifications from Cisco, Google, and Microsoft. Specializing in IT operations and system administration, Mohamad manages technology infrastructure, provides technical support, and ensures data security through training and policy implementation.

Ali has more than eight years of experience in human services, having worked in several employment agencies. He joined DOT Lebanon after his work with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, where he was an Employment Officer. Ali holds a Diploma in Human Resources from South Western Sydney Institute.
